Newcastle heart, Aberdeen roots.
Newcastle born and raised, but with roots that reach further north. Family lore has it there was once a Roberts bakery in Aberdeen - a place where proper pies were made the way they ought to be.
Whether every detail is remembered perfectly or softened by time, the spirit of it lives on in every pie I make: honest ingredients, no shortcuts, and a recipe worth passing down.
